Elena Montiel-Ponsoda received a MA in Translation and Interpreting from Universitat d'Alacant in 2000, a BA in Technical Interpreting from Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal in 2003, and PhD from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) in 2011. In 2006 she joined the Ontology Engineering Group at the UPM, where she is currently working as a post-doc researcher. She works on the representation of multilingual information in ontologies and on ontology localization in the framework of the European Monnet project. In 2011 she was doing a research visit at the Semantic Computing Group at CITEC, Bielefeld University.
