Oliver Beyer studied Computer Science at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University Bonn in Germany. He received his Diploma in 2008 and worked in his thesis on the classification of grasshoppers by extracting facial features from their frontal images. In 2009 he joined the Semantic Computing Group at CITEC at Bielefeld University. He was working towards his PhD and focuses on lifelong learning of conceptual maps. Oliver Beyer left the Semantic Computing Group in 2013.
